Fall 2012 Schedule

Payment can be made in full at time of registration or 50% at time of registration and the balance is due October 20th in order to hold your spot in class. A post-dated check or credit card to be charged on October 20th at the time of registration - you will not be invoiced for the remaining balance.

No classes will be held October 31st and November 22nd-24th for the Thanksgiving holiday.

COMBINATION CLASSES

Mom & Me (Ages 2-3 with parent)
Spend quality time with your child and help him/her learn the basics of ballet, tap and creative movement.

Preschool (Ages 3-5) - Ballet/Tap/Creative Movement
This is an introduction to tap, ballet and creative movement through fun activities and dance routines.

Preschool Plus (Ages 4-5) - Ballet/Tap
Once your dancer has completed one year of preschool dance, move up to Preschool Plus. Expand on ballet and tap technique while also learning more extensive dance routines. Teacher approval required.

Jazz/Tap/Ballet I (Ages 5-7)
This fun and energetic class will teach basic technique in jazz, ballet and tap using current dance trends, across the floor and center floor combinations.

Jazz/Tap/Ballet II (Ages 5-8)
This class builds upon the skills learned in Jazz/Tap/Ballet I. It requires a minimum of one year of Jazz/Tap/Ballet I and teacher approval.

BALLET

Ballet & Strength I (Ages 9+)
This class focuses on ballet technique, core strengthening and flexibility.

Ballet & Strength II (Ages 9+)
Expand upon your ballet technique, core strengthening and flexibility. This class requires a minimum of one year of Ballet & Strength I and/or teacher approval.

Ballet II (Ages 7-9)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet II (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet II (Ages 12+)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet III (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet IV (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet V (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Master Ballet With Avnun
These classes are geared towards the serious dancers that look to take their dancing to a higher level and pursue professional dance careers. Avnun's classes consist of hour and a half class and half hour floor barre. Groups will alternate times each month.

Group 1
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Group 2
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Adult Ballet I (Ages 18+)
This class will teach ballet technique and strengthening your core.

Adult Ballet II (Ages 18+)
Must have teacher placement.

JAZZ

Jazz I (Ages 9+)
Learn jazz technique, turns, jumps, kicks, leaps and more through center and across the floor combinations.

Jazz II (Ages 7-9)
Team level class must have teacher placement. Must be currently enrolled in CSDA ballet class.

Jazz II (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement. Must be currently enrolled in CSDA ballet class.

Jazz III (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement. Must be currently enrolled in CSDA ballet class.

Jazz IV (Ages 11+)
Team level class must have teacher placement. Must be currently enrolled in CSDA ballet class.

Adult Jazz Level I (Ages 18+)
This class will teach current dance trends in jazz technique. Bring a friend and get a great work-out.

Adult Jazz Level II (Ages 18+)
Must have teacher approval for this class.

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL

Contemporary I (Ages 9+)
This class incorporates modern and lyrical dance focusing on core strength, flexibility and more. This class requires a minimum of three years ballet instruction and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Contemporary II (Ages 10+)
Must have three years of ballet experience and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Contemporary III (Ages 11+)
Must have four years of ballet experience and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Lyrical I (Ages 10+)
This class requires a minimum of three years ballet instruction and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Lyrical II / Jazz II (Ages 11+)
Must have teacher approval.

Lyrical III (Ages 10+)
Must have teacher approval.

Modern (Ages 10+)
This class requires at least three years of ballet class and current enrollment in CSDA ballet class.

Mini Poppers (Ages 5-6)
This is the perfect class for your little hip hop want-to-be!

Hip Hop Level I (Ages 7+)
This class will teach current dance trends in clean hip-hop and popping

Hip Hop Level II With Alvin
Learn from one of the best in the business! Alvin Ramirez from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew will teach the latest hip hop choreography.

Poms Prep Class (Ages 10+)
Are you looking to try out for poms in middle school or high school? This class will help prepare you for try-outs. Learn proper turns, jumps, leaps, kicks and pom moves.

Musical Theatre (Ages 9+)
Must have two years of jazz experience and be currently enrolled in CSDA jazz class.
