Center Stage Dance Academy is proud to offer a variety of dance options for your child. Classes include ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, modern, hip hop and tumbling. Each genre has its own feeling and flair. If your child is unsure as to which they would be most interested in, feel free to try a variety or contact Miss Debbie for suggestions.
If you missed company auditions in June - it's not too late!
You can still audition for our 2011/2012 competitive company. If you are between the ages of 5 and 19, you may audition Friday, August 26th and/or Saturday August 27th.
Please contact Center Stage at 847-669-2510 by Thursday, August 25th to reserve your spot to audition. Day and time will be assigned depending on what genres of dance you will be auditioning for.
For normal office hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00-8:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am -12:30 pm
Individual appointments may be arranged.
Competition Class hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 pm -10:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Center Stage is looking to form a performance group to represent the studio during community events. If you are interested in having your dancer take their dancing to the next level, but don't want the commitment of the competitive group this is the perfect solution for you!
 Dancers must be at least 5 years of age or older. Dancers must be enrolled in ballet, tap & jazz classes, dance at least 2 hours per week, and love to perform. This group will perform at various community events such as the Huntley Fall Fest, The Lake in the Hills Labor Day Parade, The Huntley Memorial Day parade, Relay for Life, Del Webb, etc.
If your dancer is interested in becoming part of this group, please notify Center Stage at 847-669-2510 by September 20th. If there is enough interest, we will host an audition for the performance group in October. Extra Fees will apply for this group:
- $100 commitment fee
- Parade uniform showing school colors and a performance costume along with appropriate dance shoes
- One hour rehearsal per week (day/time TBD)
