Summer 2013 Schedule

Classes will begin Monday, June 17th and run through Friday, July 26th.

No classes will be held July 4th for Independance Day or July 17th-19th for Nationals.

COMBINATION CLASSES

Mom & Me (Ages 2-3 with parent)
Spend quality time with your child and help him/her learn the basics of ballet, tap and creative movement.

Preschool (Ages 3-5) - Ballet/Tap/Creative Movement
This is an introduction to tap, ballet and creative movement through fun activities and dance routines.

Preschool Plus (Ages 4-5) - Ballet/Tap
Once your dancer has completed one year of preschool dance, move up to Preschool Plus. Expand on ballet and tap technique while also learning more extensive dance routines. Teacher approval required.

Jazz/Tap/Ballet I (Ages 5+)
This fun and energetic class will teach basic technique in jazz, ballet and tap using current dance trends, across the floor and center floor combinations.

Jazz/Tap/Ballet II (Ages 7+)
This class builds upon the skills learned in Jazz/Tap/Ballet I. It requires a minimum of one year of Jazz/Tap/Ballet I and teacher approval.

BALLET

Ballet & Strength I (Ages 8+)
This class focuses on ballet technique, core strengthening and flexibility.

Professional Ballet with Steve
These classes are geared towards the serious dancer that look to that their dancing to a higher level and pursue professional dance careers.

Ballet II (Ages 6-10)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet II & III (Ages 10+)
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Ballet IV & V
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Pointe
Team level class must have teacher placement.

Master Ballet With Avnun
These classes are geared towards the serious dancers that look to take their dancing to a higher level and pursue professional dance careers. Avnun's classes are twice a week

Advanced
Must have teacher placement.

Intermediate
Must have teacher placement.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe
Must have teacher placement.

JAZZ

Jazz I (Ages 8+)
Learn jazz technique, turns, jumps, kicks, leaps and more through center and across the floor combinations.

Jazz I+ (Ages 9+)
Rec team and teacher approved.

Jazz II (Ages 8-10)
Must have teacher placement.

Jazz II/Jazz III (Ages 11+)
Must have teacher placement.

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL

Contemporary I (Ages 8+)
This class incorporates modern and lyrical dance focusing on core strength, flexibility and more. This class requires a minimum of one year ballet instruction and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Contemporary II (Ages 10+)
Must have completed one full year of Contemporary I and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Contemporary III (Ages 12+)
Must have completed one full year of Contemporary II and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class. Must have teacher placement.

Lyrical I (Ages 10+)
This class requires a minimum of one year ballet instruction and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Lyrical II (Ages 10+)
This class requires a minimum of one year ballet instruction and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

Modern
This class requires a minimum of two years ballet instruction and current enrollment in a CSDA ballet class.

HIP HOP

Mini Poppers (Ages 5-6)
This is the perfect class for your little hip hop want-to-be!

Hip Hop Level I (Ages 7+)
This class will teach current dance trends in clean hip-hop and popping

Hip Hop With Alvin & Matt
Learn from one of the best in the business! Alvin Ramirez from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew will teach the latest hip hop choreography.

*NOTE: Alvin & Matt's Hip Hop Classes are not weekly.

Tumbling
Groups and levels will be determined at registration.

Audition Class
Students learn what it takes to have a successful audition.

Adult Ballet & Jazz
This class is an introductory class especially for those that want to try something new & fun!

Poms Prep Class (Ages 10+)
Instructor will place students.

Musical Theatre (Ages 9+)

Improv
Must be dancing at Level II or higher.

IO
Teacher recommendation required.
